Sembra proprio che per gli sparatutto in soggettiva le idee siano un po’ finite. Soprattutto per quanto riguarda le modalità multiplayer sono anni che vediamo più o meno le stesse con poche e semplici varianti. Bioshock 2 ne proporrà una che sembra senza dubbio divertente, ma continua a farmi credere che in questo titolo 2K stia dando troppa importanza al multi, spero non a discapito del single.

Come avete appena visto dal video in alto, siamo davanti a una modifica al canovaccio classico del CTF (Capture The Flag) che vede le Sorelline nell’ingrato ruolo delle…bandiere!

Sembra sfizioso doverle prima sottrarre alle cure di un Big Daddy per poi correre in tutta fretta a depositarle nei loro cunicoli, ma come anche ci ha dimostrato Gears of War 2 con Meat Flag alla fine è la sostanza a non cambiare affatto: perchè forzare un gameplay vecchiotto in una struttura che non ne ha bisogno?

Come ho già avuto modo di dire, non bisogna aspettarsi una competizione serrata ed eventuali derive torneistiche per Bioshock 2, che resterà finalizzato al puro divertimento: a me basterà solo che questa nuova direzione per la serie non tolga spazio e qualità alla nuova avventura ambientata a Rapture.

I meno anglofoni ora, non dovranno fare i salti mortali per capire cosa dice questo “Halo 3 Uber Rap” che ovviamente parla del capolavoro Bungie ma non solo. Anzi una lettura e un ascolto sono consigliati soprattutto ai netgamers perchè il testo prende in giro proprio quel tipo di pubblico, bonariamente si intende. Tra l’altro i frag nel video sono allucinanti!!!

Niente trailer in avanscoperta per sondare se la gente acquisterà il titolo. Niente hype, niente graficona megagalattica. Solo e semplicemente un’idea, mischiare Worms e Quake.

Cosa???? Urleranno molti di voi al monitor. Worms e Quake? E già, incredibile ma vero, in TeeWorlds, che è un titolo solamente multiplayer, dovete immaginarvi un quadro in stile Worms, dove il vostro omino può fare i movimenti classici dei vermetti di Team 17,  ha addirittura un rampino che funziona come la corda ninja. Scopo del gioco: identico all’ispiratore, fare fuori gli omini degli avversari. Ed ecco che subentra Quake: il tutto è in tempo reale, con una classifica a frag da scalare. Ci sono armi e vari power up sparsi per il livello e ovviamente prendere le armi aggiuntive può rivelarsi decisivo.

Raccontata così forse non da la giusta idea del divertimento, sfrenato, che TeeWorlds può portare ai suoi utenti. Ci si ritrova catapultati in deathmatch davvero adrenalinici dove non conta solo mirare bene, anzi la strategia è fondamentale. Ci sono mappe Capture The Flag, mappe studiate per i duelli ecc ecc.

Come al solito i videogiochi trovano sempre scappatoie molto intelligenti alle maglie del mercato: aggiungi un po’ di competizione e la possibilità di “insultare” i propri amici e anche un gioco stravagante e scarno come TeeWorlds sembrerà il paradiso.
